The hospital announced the suspension of maternal and child services for renovation and expansion on May 6, 2025; it referred patients to Santa Helena and Imperial Hospital de Caridade (NSC Total).
In the national CNES registry (the “Ilha Hospital e Maternidade” record, updated September 3, 2025) an obstetric center is not marked.
