What are these terms about?
The site doulafloripa.com is run by Katerina. These terms cover use of the site: reading pages, sending the form, filling in the questionnaire. The terms of support (services, price, payment, the parties’ responsibility, dispute resolution) are set by a contract that is signed separately. The information on the site is for reference
The texts about pregnancy, birth, documents and law are compiled from open sources; pages on law, documents, medicine and prices show the date they were checked. They do not replace the advice of a doctor or a lawyer, and decisions on documents are made by government bodies. More: “Legal notice”.
A request, the questionnaire and the contract
Sending the form or the questionnaire does not create a contract and does not bind you or Katerina. Katerina may decline to provide support for a justified reason, and you may change your mind before signing the contract. The consumer rights the law gives you are preserved; these may include the right to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance within the period set by law. Support begins on the terms of the signed contract.
What you enter in the forms
Give accurate information about yourself. If you pass on another person’s data, for example a partner’s, make sure they know. The forms do not work as an emergency line: the reply does not come instantly. In urgent situations, call SAMU (Brazil’s ambulance service) at 192, and for questions about your health, see a doctor.
Prices
Prices and the scope of services on the site are indicative and given as of the date next to the price. The final terms are set by the contract. Government fees and the cost of medical services are not included in the support price unless stated otherwise.
Rules of use
You may use the site freely. You may not disrupt its operation or protection, collect data from it in bulk or automatically, send through the forms spam, other people’s personal data without the knowledge of their owner, or knowingly false information, or impersonate another person.
Copyright and quotation
The texts, illustrations and design of the site belong to Katerina or are used on lawful grounds. You may quote the texts to the extent justified by the purpose (study, criticism, polemic), naming the author and the source; Brazil’s copyright law allows such quotation (Lei 9.610/1998, art. 46, III). Please also link to the page. For any other use, including commercial, written permission is needed: write through the page “Contact”.
Links to other sites
The site links to the official pages of public authorities, hospitals and services. Katerina does not control them and is not responsible for their content, and a link does not mean a partnership or a recommendation. Maternity hospital names are given as reference information, not as advertising.
Stories and reviews
The published stories reflect the personal experience of individual families and are published with their consent. They do not promise the same result.
Liability
Laws, fees and timelines change, which is why pages on law, documents, medicine and prices show the date they were checked. To the extent the law allows, Katerina is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of information from the site, or for interruptions in its operation. These terms do not limit rights that the law does not allow you to waive, including consumer rights under the law of your country.
How the site works
The site may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance or failures, and its content and design may change without notice. Pages are not available in every language: if there is no translation, the page is not shown in that language.
Applicable law and disputes
The applicable law and jurisdiction for questions of using the site are determined by mandatory provisions of law. If a dispute relates to a service, what is stated in the contract applies. Before going to court, write to Katerina: she will try to resolve the matter without court.
